Citadel NetFORCE-15™ Rugged Computer Receives Department of the Navy MIL-S-901C Approval Rating

Amherst, NH - May 1, 2011 - Citadel Computer Corporation has received a MIL-S-901C Mechanical Shock Qualification and Approval Letter from the Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC for modified configurations of the company's NetFORCE-15 computer systems.
This shock qualification approval is documented in a High-Impact Shock Environmental Qualification Test Report prepared by the Naval Undersea Warfare Centers - Division: Newport, Rhode Island. The report references MIL-S-901C Shock Tests (High Impact) for Shipboard Machinery, Equipment and Systems Requirements as modified by the SSN-688 Ship Specifications. The approval rating designates specially modified Citadel NetFORCE-15 computers for installation on both USS Los Angeles (SSN 688/688I) and USS Seawolf (SSN 21) CLASS submarines.
Citadel's NetFORCE-15 systems are utilized as rugged client computers in the Navigation Local Area Network (NAVLAN) and Trim Assist Systems (TEMPALTS). Both the modified Citadel NetFORCE-15 computers as well as the associated power module have been approved for both SSN 688/688I and SSN 21 Class installations.
